Hyperlocal

As a hyperlocal brewery we must do more than just source ingredients from the area. We must become part of the larger community, and that means doing more than just brewing great beer. One of the elements in our mission statement is to “support local”. That means local farms, organizations, charities, even down to our merch, labels and artwork.

Reclif Community
Autism Spectrum Disorder affects 3.5-million people nation-wide and yet more than 52% of those individuals enter a life of isolation after high-school when publicly funded programs typically evaporate. Especially for those who lack the financial means to do otherwise, theses young adults are faced with the daunting prospect of a lifetime of loneliness without anywhere to turn for understanding. As the fastest growing developmental disorder in existence autism needs a lifelong support system for a lifelong disorder.

ReClif Community aims to provide a chance for more typical life experiences for individuals living with autism and those that care for them. Our mission is to empower its beneficiaries with cognitive focused activities, social outreach, scholarship, and societal inclusion. ReClif Community strives to live the motto of its founder by: “changing the conversation surrounding autism.” Giving a voice to those in need and speaking up for those who cannot.

Birdies Fore Love
Making an impact in the communities where we live and work is one of RSM’s greatest triumphs. Through Birdies Fore Love, our caring professionals go above and beyond to support children and families across the nation.

Birdies Fore Love (BFL) is RSM’s charitable giving platform for The RSM Classic, a PGA TOUR event for which RSM is the title sponsors. Each year, RSM offices commit to raising funds for local charitable organizations aligned with the missions of the RSM US Foundation and the Davis Love Foundation, the host organization of The RSM Classic. These efforts are supported by matching donations from the RSM US Foundation.

Employee champions in each of our local offices coordinate fun activities to encourage participation and help meet our fundraising goals. Our people have enjoyed raising money through whiffle ball tournaments, bake sales, chili cook-offs, putt-putt contests, dance-a-thons and even pie-in-the-face challenges.

Impact

Since the inception of The RSM Classic in 2010, RSM and the Davis Love Foundation have donated more than $21 million to charities that support education and organizations that support children and families in the areas of hunger, housing and health. In 2020 alone, we donated more than $4 million to the 70+ deserving charities selected by our local offices.

Boy with a Ball
OUR MISSION IS TO BETTER CITIES BY REACHING AND EQUIPPING YOUNG PEOPLE TO TURN AND TRANSFORM THEIR COMMUNITIES

Our vision is to help as many young people as possible come to know Jesus and follow Him into their God-given potential.

When young people do not get the love they need or are forced to grow up in unsafe situations like extreme poverty, they become vulnerable to making dangerous choices. In Beirut, Lebanon, that might involve joining a radical terrorist group. In Baltimore, MD, USA, that looks a lot more like riots and crime. In either case, we all pay a significant price.

At-risk young people are a city’s greatest issue. While the cost may come in the form of criminal activity, dangerous inner cities, law enforcement and social service costs today the far more expensive price tag comes in the future: Lost wages, taxes and possibilities of what these young people might have become. Our cities’ futures are being determined by what we are investing in our young people today. Healthy youth lead to thriving cities. Hurting youth lead to damaged cities.
