While serving as a mechanic in the US Army, Alex discovered his love of craft beer. After his time in the military, he transitioned to civilian life as a Customer Service Manager with GE. While working in corporate America, he started to homebrew as a hobby, and placed 3rd in the porter category at the 2011 Peach State Brew Off. This sparked him to pursue a career change from corporate life to commercial brewing. He is currently completing his brewing certification from the Institute of Brewing and Distilling (IBD). When not at the brewery, you will find Alex spending time with his family, playing golf, drinking beer and listening to his vinyl collection. We look forward to Alex growing with Social Fox and already excited for the amount of passion and work he has put in at the brewery within a short time period.
